Roger Federer can come back in ATP Masters 1000 tournament?

It seems that year 2009 is not a good time for world number two Roger Federer. Still he can not get any title of this year. Last he played at the Indian Wells ATP tournament 2009 but he had to accept his defeat against Andy Murray in the semi-final round. However, this former world number one is expecting to come back and retain his prime form once again. So, we can hope to see him in the upcoming second ATP Masters 1000 tournament. You may know that he lost his top place to Rafael Nadal and lost the Australian Open on February 1. No doubt, he will have to work hard to get back his place. Some of his fans already started saying that he has become aged. However, I would like to tell you about Andre Agassi. He is taken a place in the list of all time top tennis player. Rafael Nadal won the Indian Wells ATP Masters Series Title

Top seeded player Rafael Nadal won the Indian Wells ATP Masters series title. This victory came against Scotland’s Andy Murray. He defeated Murray by 6-1, 6-2 to bag this title. It was not a hard challenge for Nadal. He played in aggressive mood and took only one hour 20 minutes to finish his job done. No doubt, year 2009 is perhaps the best time for Nadal. Now, he is dominating the tennis court. On the other hand, it was really bad luck for Murray. No doubt, he thought of facing tough challenge but never could guess he will have to face such disaster defeat.

Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray will face each other in the Indian Wells final

Tennis fans are eagerly waiting to see an exciting and nail biting fight between Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray. Now, you already know that both of them will face each other in the final match of Indian Wells. It is really tough challenge for the defending champion Andy Murray. Roger Federer: Has he become aged?

The former world number one and recently taken second position Roger Federer is not in his prime form. He is struggling hard to get back his form but can not do it. It is heard that this veteran player has lost his dominance over this game. Year 2009 is perhaps bad time for him. Now, he could not do well in the Indian Wells tennis tournament. He lost his hop to play in the final after being beaten by world number four Andy Murray. This Scottish player bit Federer in three sets 6-3, 4-6, 6-1. So, you can say that it is end of Roger Federer era.

You already know that he is going to be a father for the first time. So, it was a great chance to dedicate the title to his new child. Let us see if he can bag any title in this year or not.

Ana Ivanovic in semi-final of Indian Wells 2009

It seems that 2009 is not a very good year for Ana Ivanovic. Until now she has not won any title this year. So, her fans are worried about their favorite beautiful tennis player. At last, there is something good news for them. Ana is now in the semi-final of Indian Wells 2009. She did not have to play in the quarter-final because her opponent gave her a walk-over.

REUTERS reported:

Ivanovic reached the last four after Bammer pulled out because of an injured left shoulder.

"It's the first time that I have had problems with my shoulder," the 28-year-old Austrian said.

"It happened yesterday at my practice and this morning, when I was warming up, I just couldn't continue. I am very disappointed. I normally play very well here and it is a place I really enjoy."

Indian Wells Masters 2009 Third Round Report

World no. 1 Rafael Nadal edged past Dmitry Tursanov in straight sets in the third round of Indian Wells Masters 2009. Tursanov failed to show any resistance against the Spaniard being lost 6-3 6-3. Nadal was in excellent form throughout the match facing no threat from the 26th seed. In the fourth round, Nadal would face David Nalbandian who reached the fourth round, defeating Viktor Troick 6-4 6-2. Juan Martin del Potro is through to the fourth round, defeating Jurgen Melzer 6-2 2-6 7-6. American star Andy Roddick got into the fourth round defeating Nicolas Kiefer 6-4 7-6.

While all other favorites successfully reached the next round, former world no. 1, Marat Safin, failed to make it to the next round as he lost to wildcard John Isner 6-4 6-4. With this victory, the American continued his surprise performance after defeating Gael Monfils, the ninth seed, in the second round of the tournament.

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are in fourth round

One of the most prestigious tournaments BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells is going on. Top seeded players are showing their class in this tournament. World number one Rafael Nadal and defending champion Novak Djokovic are at the centre of attraction of this event. They have successfully reached in the fourth round. Rafael Nadal got an easy win against Russian Dmitry Tursunov by 6-3 6-3 at Indian Wells. On the other hand, third-seeded Novak Djokovic had to make some resistance to get win against German veteran Tommy Haas. However, he could beat Haas by 6-2 7-6 (7-1).
