French Open 2009: Roger Federer is waiting for more 2 matches

The second-seeded player Roger Federer will have to wait two more games to hold his inaugural French Open trophy and touch Pete Sampras’s 14th Grand Slam record. After beating Gael Monfils by 7-6 (6), 6-2, 6-4, Federer has moved to the semi-final round. He will face Argentine Juan Martin del Potro in the semi-final round. Other two contestants of the semi-final round are Fernando Gonzalez and Robin Soderling. Roger Federer is the only favorite player among them.

Roger Federer has no reason to be worried because his enemy top-seeded player Rafael Nadal has been beaten by Robin Soderling. In the last four years, he had been beaten by Nadal three times in the final round at Roland Garros. It is golden opportunity for Federer to hold the title and illustrate his career record.
