French Open 2009: Roger Federer defeated Paul-Henri Mathieu to move 4th round

Roger Federer has moved to 4th round at French Open after beating France’s Paul-Henri Mathieu. This match was played in fourth set. Despite of his poor performance at the beginning, he has made strong come back and won the next three sets. He has beaten Paul-Henri Mathieu by 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4. Federer was not feeling comfort to play in clay court. In his game, he made 29 unforced errors where he hit 14 aces. This performance can make some fear to the heart of his fans but it does not mean his performance has been faded. The good news is that he could finish the match with victory. It seems that he will face his. well known enemy Rafael Nadal in the final round.
Germany contestant Philipp Kohlschreiber defeated Novak Djokovic by 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. Novak Djokovic was the two times semi-final. I hope that tennis fans can see another final match of Roland Garros between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Maria Sharapova is expecting to hold French Open 2009

Maria Sharapova has made his return in the tennis with French Open tournament after long time. Now, she is hoping to make her return memorable with the clinching of Roland Garros title. She has got a tough win against Kazakhstan's Yaroslava Shvedova in the third round. She has beaten Shvedova by 1:6, 6:3, 6:4. This match was played two hours and 12 minutes. Sharapova ensured his victory at the third set. The 22-year-old Maria Sharapova was out of the tennis court for 10 months due to her shoulder injury. Because of her injury, the former N.1 has slipped to 102 in the ranking. It is the best time for her to take the control over the tennis court and start dominance in the women’s tennis. After winning the third round against Yaroslava Shvedova, she has moved to fourth round where she will face the 25th ranked China's Li Na. It is a big challenge for her. Venus Williams beat Lucie Safarova at French Open 2009

The former world N.1 Venus Williams, who is from United States, is facing scare at French Open. Recently, she is taking 3rd rank in Women tennis. This great player has defeated Lucie Safarova of Czech Republic by 6-7 (5/7), 6-2, 7-5. This victory has come in the third round at French Open. It is true that Safarova could make some pressure over Venus Williams. After beating Safarova, she has moved next round.

Jose Acasuso of Argentina was supposed to make an upset for second-seeded player Roger Federer in 2nd round. French Open 2009: Serena Williams is near from her 11th Grand Slam

Serena Williams got a straight win against her opponent contestant Ruano Pascual. She defeated Pascual by 6-2, 6-0. It was played less than one hour. She achieved the victory within 57 minutes. We can see that it was not a tough challenge for Serena Williams. Her opponent could not make any protest in front of her. Serena again proves that she is the queen of tennis court. After winning this game in second round, she has moved one step ahead to hold her 11th Grand Slam. If she can then it will be her second Grand Slam in French Open. I can not see anyone who can stop her.
